Where?
My photo studio in downtown Los Angeles at 600 S Spring St, #1505, LA 90014.
When?
There are 26 one-hour timeslots throughout the week – some in the evening, some in the afternoon, some on the weekend during the day. Once you fill out the form below, you’ll receive an email and be able to click on a timeslot that works for you.
What Do you get?
You’ll get two fully edited headshots. If you want additional shots (no obligation at all) they would be $50 each. Here’s what to expect:
- you’ll pick your favorite two shots from the private, online proofing gallery I will send. You can pick optional additional shots, if any, at the same time or later.
- for each edited shot you get two crops: shoulder crop and a tighter face crop for thumbnails.
- the file will be a high-resolution, 300 dpi JPG
- you’ll get a color and b&w version for each image
you can wear two looks, plus unlimited quick-change items like scarfs, jackets, headbands, glasses, etc
More Details and FAQs
- We are going for headshots: shoulders-up, neutral background, with your face, and especially your eyes, as the clear visual focus in the image.
- The approach to editing can be realistic or editorial. Realistic approach presents you as having an amazing skin-and-hair-day, while still faithfully representing your in-person appearance. The editorial approach goes a little further to make you magazine-cover ready.
- I will walk you through all kinds of simple poses. Don’t worry about not knowing how to pose — that’s my job and I love it.
- Hair and makeup will not be provided. But I have makeup artist recommendations if you need them.
- Headshot backgrounds will be solid, neutral tones with subtle textures that can be added in editing.
- After you book a slot, I will follow up with tips like what to wear, makeup approach, where to park, etc.
